Vincenzo’s Landscaping & Home Improvement LLC
Because every neighborhood has someone worth celebrating.
1. Purpose of the Initiative
Nominate-A-Neighbor is a community recognition initiative organized and administered by Vincenzo’s Landscaping & Home Improvement LLC (“Vincenzo’s”).
Established following Vincenzo’s receipt of the 2026 Citizens Small Business Community Champion Award, the initiative recognizes individuals who demonstrate kindness, generosity, community involvement, resilience, or a commitment to helping others.
Community members are invited to nominate a deserving neighbor for consideration.
One eligible residential property will be selected to receive one complimentary year of Vincenzo’s Platinum Property Maintenance Package.
Selection is based on the merits of the nominations and the judgment of an internal review committee. Recipients are not selected by chance, lottery, random drawing, or public popularity vote.
2. Campaign Timeline
Nominations Open: November 1, 2026
Nominations Close: February 20, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time
Recipient Announcement: March 2027
Complimentary Service Period: April 1, 2027, through April 1, 2028
Nominations received after the deadline will not be considered unless an extension is publicly announced in accordance with applicable law.
3. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for consideration:
The nominee must be an individual associated with a residential property within Vincenzo’s established service area, currently including Branford, North Branford, Guilford, and Madison, Connecticut.
The property must be used primarily for residential purposes.
The nominee must be willing to accept the complimentary services and comply with the applicable service agreement.
The property owner must provide written authorization for the work before services begin.
The property must be suitable for routine residential maintenance and capable of being safely serviced using Vincenzo’s standard equipment and procedures.
No purchase, payment, or existing customer relationship is necessary to participate.
Vincenzo’s employees, owners, internal selection committee members, and their immediate family or household members are ineligible.
4. Property Size and Suitability
There is no predetermined maximum acreage requirement.
However, all nominated properties are subject to an individual property assessment before the award is confirmed.
The assessment may consider:
Total lawn and landscaped area requiring maintenance
Property accessibility, terrain, slopes, and obstacles
Number and condition of shrubs, garden beds, and other maintained areas
Snow removal areas, driveway configuration, and accessibility
Equipment, labor, material, and scheduling requirements
Whether the property can reasonably be serviced within the company’s standard Platinum Package scope and operational capacity
Vincenzo’s may determine that a property is ineligible when its maintenance requirements substantially exceed the scope or capacity of the standard residential Platinum Package.
Any determination of ineligibility must be documented and based on reasonable, consistently applied property and service criteria.
5. Nomination Process
Nominations must be submitted through the official Nominate-A-Neighbor nomination form.
Nominators may be asked to provide:
Their name and contact information
The nominee’s name and property location
Their relationship to the nominee
A written explanation of why the nominee deserves recognition
Additional information relevant to the nomination
Nominators must provide information they reasonably believe to be accurate and should not submit confidential medical, financial, or other sensitive personal information without appropriate permission.
Multiple nominations for the same individual do not increase that individual’s likelihood of selection.
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee that the nominee will be selected.
6. Selection Criteria and Committee Review
The recipient will be selected by an internal committee designated by Vincenzo’s.
The committee will review eligible nominations based on the following criteria:
Community Contribution: The nominee’s positive involvement in or contributions to their neighborhood or community.
Kindness and Generosity: Demonstrated compassion, support, or assistance provided to others.
Individual Circumstances: Circumstances in which complimentary property maintenance would provide meaningful assistance or relief.
Alignment with the Initiative: The degree to which the nominee’s story reflects the purpose of recognizing and celebrating deserving neighbors.
The committee will evaluate nominations fairly, in good faith, and without discrimination based on legally protected characteristics.
Selection will not be determined by chance, social media engagement, public voting, or the number of nominations received.
The committee will maintain an internal record of its evaluation and the reasons supporting its selection.
The selected nominee will be contacted privately to confirm interest and eligibility before any public announcement.
If the nominee declines, does not satisfy the eligibility requirements, or cannot enter into the required agreements, the committee may select another eligible nominee using the same criteria.
7. Complimentary Platinum Package
The selected property will receive one year of complimentary services under Vincenzo’s standard Platinum Property Maintenance Package.

All services will be performed as seasonally appropriate and in accordance with Vincenzo’s standard service specifications.
The award covers routine property maintenance only. It does not entitle the recipient to unlimited labor, materials, landscaping improvements, or additional services.
8. Service Exclusions
The complimentary package does not include services outside the company’s standard Platinum Package.
Excluded work includes, but is not limited to:
Tree removal or major tree maintenance

9. Scheduling and Operational Limitations
The selected property will be incorporated into Vincenzo’s existing maintenance routes and service schedules.
By accepting the award, the recipient acknowledges that:
Services will be scheduled according to established company routes and operational availability.
Complimentary service does not provide priority scheduling over other customer accounts.
Specific arrival times or service dates are not guaranteed.
Weather, staffing, equipment availability, safety conditions, and other operational factors may require rescheduling.
Seasonal maintenance will be performed when reasonably appropriate for the property and weather conditions.
Missed or delayed visits will be handled in accordance with the company’s standard service agreement.
Vincenzo’s will make reasonable efforts to fulfill the complimentary package throughout the agreed service period.
10. Snow Removal and Salting
Snow removal and salting services will be governed by Vincenzo’s existing standard snow service agreement and operational procedures.
Services apply to qualifying snow events involving accumulation of 3 inches or greater, subject to the definitions and conditions contained in that agreement.
The recipient acknowledges that snow services are route-based and do not guarantee immediate clearing, continuous snow removal during a storm, or emergency response.
The applicable snow service agreement will define service areas, accumulation measurements, scheduling expectations, safety requirements, and operational limitations.
The recipient must review and accept those terms before winter services commence.
11. Property Ownership, Authorization, and Access
The selected nominee must obtain written consent from the legal property owner before services begin.
If the nominee is a tenant or other non-owner occupant, the property owner must authorize the services and any necessary access.
The recipient and property owner, as applicable, must:
Provide reasonable access to designated maintenance areas
Disclose known hazards or restricted areas
Secure pets and personal belongings as required by the service agreement
Identify relevant property features or conditions that could affect safe operations
Comply with the company’s standard safety and access requirements
Vincenzo’s may postpone or decline individual services when conditions make the work unsafe or impractical.
Any applicable liability provisions, damage-reporting procedures, insurance terms, and responsibilities will be addressed in the separate written service agreement.
12. Relocation or Change in Property Status
The complimentary award is associated with the selected recipient and the approved residential property.
If the recipient permanently relocates from the property during the service period, complimentary services will terminate as of the recipient’s move-out date.
The award cannot be transferred to a new address, another person, or a subsequent occupant.
No cash payment, refund, replacement services, or extension will be provided for the unused portion of the award, subject to applicable law.
If the property becomes unsuitable or ineligible during the service period, Vincenzo’s will review the circumstances under the signed service agreement before determining whether services may continue.
13. Publicity and Community Recognition
Nominate-A-Neighbor is intended to publicly recognize and celebrate a deserving member of the community.
As a proposed condition of accepting the award, the selected recipient will be required to sign a separate written publicity release authorizing specified uses of their name, nomination story, photographs, and/or video recordings for campaign-related recognition and promotional purposes.
The release will identify the permitted uses, including the company website, social media, community announcements, and related campaign materials.
Any photography or filming involving additional individuals, minors, or third-party property will require appropriate separate permissions.
No nominee’s personal story or identifying information will be publicly disclosed solely because a nomination was submitted.
14. Nontransferability and Cash Value
The complimentary package:
Is limited to one approved residential property
Is nontransferable
Has no cash redemption value
Cannot be exchanged for other services or products
Cannot be sold, assigned, or transferred
Cannot be extended beyond the designated service period without written authorization
The award represents complimentary services ordinarily offered by Vincenzo’s and does not create an entitlement to a monetary payment.
15. Acceptance and Written Agreements
Before the award is finalized and services commence, the selected recipient and property owner, where applicable, must complete all required documentation.
This may include:
Confirmation of eligibility
Property assessment and service-scope acknowledgment
Written property owner authorization
Standard Platinum Package service agreement
Standard snow service agreement
Separate publicity release
Other documentation reasonably necessary to administer the award
The written agreements will establish the final service obligations and expectations.
16. Modification, Suspension, or Cancellation
Vincenzo’s reserves the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to modify, suspend, or cancel the initiative when unforeseen circumstances materially affect its fairness, administration, safety, or feasibility.
Any material changes to the nomination process or selection requirements will be communicated publicly as appropriate.
Once a recipient has been formally confirmed and the applicable service agreement executed, the company’s obligations will be governed by that agreement and applicable law.
Vincenzo’s will not arbitrarily terminate an accepted award solely because the services are being provided without charge.
17. Privacy and Information Use
Information collected through nominations will be used to administer the initiative, assess eligibility, contact nominators and nominees, and coordinate recipient selection.
Nomination information will be accessible only to authorized individuals involved in administering the campaign, except as otherwise disclosed or required by law.
Personal information submitted for nomination purposes will not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing communications.
Any marketing subscriptions or unrelated promotional communications will require appropriate separate consent.
